The Norfolk Living Guide Awards 2026
Seven categories, no entry fee, no public vote and no way to buy a badge. The Guide launches awards for the villages and services no Norfolk scheme covers. Suggestions open until 30 September 2026.
The Norfolk Living Guide Awards recognise the best of living in Norfolk: the places, the village shops and pubs, and the estate agents and removals firms people trust with a move. Voting opened on 20 July 2026 and closes on 30 September 2026. Winners are announced in late November.
The categories
- Norfolk Village of the Year. The village that is best to live in day to day: shops, pub, school, transport.
- Market Town of the Year. The town with the strongest centre: shops trading, a regular market, things to do.
- Coastal Town of the Year. The coastal town that works in winter as well as summer.
- Village Shop of the Year. The best village shop in Norfolk.
- Village Pub of the Year. The best village pub in Norfolk.
- Estate Agent of the Year. The agency with the best record on service and results.
- Removals Firm of the Year. The removals firm its customers rate highest.
Vote

Votes decide the shortlists, which are published in late October with the evidence for each name on them. Winners are chosen from the shortlists by our editorial team against published criteria.
There is no entry fee and a winner’s badge costs nothing. If a category takes a sponsor, the sponsor has no say in the result and cannot win that category.
