Four towns to start with
Broadland
Reepham
One of the smallest market towns in the county, with a Georgian Market Place, a Wednesday market and the Marriott’s Way running past the old station towards Norwich.
North Norfolk
Holt
A Georgian town a few minutes inland from the coast. Gresham’s School and tight limits on new building keep family houses selling fast, and there is no railway station.
Broadland
Aylsham
Norfolk’s first Cittaslow town, with an independent high street, the Bure Valley Railway to Wroxham and Blickling Hall about a mile and a half out.
North Norfolk
Cromer
The pier and the crab are what visitors know. For residents it is the station on the Bittern Line to Norwich and a hospital in town.

The Norfolk Living Guide is a small independent publication, edited in Norfolk. Four contributors cover the county between them, each with a beat. House prices come from HM Land Registry, school ratings from the latest Ofsted inspection, broadband from Ofcom and population from the ONS. Anything else is checked against a named source, usually the council, the operator or the regulator. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will correct the page.
